Automotive Mechanic Technicians Needed!!! Entry Level & Experienced!
SPRINT MOTORSPORTS is looking to hire 2 new additions to our staff.
**We are in need of an entry-level mechanic that has at minimum, basic automotive courses completed at a tech school or 2 years of experience at a shop. You will also be required to help out and learn to assist customers in our DIY or Die Techshop.
** We are looking to hire an intermediate level technician or higher, that is competent in general mechanical repairs and understands electronic systems, diagnostics, and wiring. This includes being able to use an oscilloscope and multimeter. Techs usually either understand the electrical stuff or they don’t. It takes a certain kind of mind. If you are the type that “gets it,” then reach out to us. If you are comfortable with automotive electrical and willing to learn, we can teach you advanced systems diagnostics and deciphering in-car networks and communication. More than half of the work coming into our facility involves systems diagnostics. The current transition to electric vehicles, and with all cars becoming rolling computer networks, most work will evolve into advanced computer systems diagnostics. If you have the mind for electrical and are good at mechanical repairs, we have the position for you.
Part-time and full-time work is available. Flexible hours and shifts.
Basic Job Requirements:
• You must be punctual and reliable
• Ensure customer vehicles and work areas are clean and well-kept
• Valid Driver’s License
• English Speaking
• Able to lift 60 pounds, stoop, crawl, and stand for long periods of time and perform overhead work.
• Good Reading, Writing, and computer skills. -We use a computerized shop management system that requires you to enter service and repair notes for staff and customers.
